AMSTERDAM, THE NETHERLANDS (November 22, 2013) – SARKKS.A., the exclusive distributor of Tommy Hilfiger in Greece, Cyprus, Romania & FYROM, is pleased to announce the opening of a dedicated childrenswear store in Bucharest, Romania on November 22, 2013.

The store is located in the Baneasa Mall, one of the most prestigious shopping malls in Bucharest. It is the brand’s tenth store in Romania and the latest addition to a growing portfolio of Tommy Hilfiger locations around the world. The store is operated by SarkkS.A., franchisee of theTommy Hilfigerbrand in Romania.

The store features an array of Tommy Hilfiger’s childrenswear collections for boys and girls, from newborns to the age of 16. The store’s 75 square meter/800 square foot interior reflects a mix of quintessential Tommy Hilfiger design elements with a fun twist for kids. Heritage prep pieces are juxtaposed against wood scaffolding, glossy white shelving and wall paneling.

The Fall/Winter 2013 Tommy Hilfiger childrenswear collection reinvents American classics with bold colors and rich textures – all inspired by the excitement of back to school. The collection offers a playful and youthful point of view on the brand’s iconic American preppy style; classic pieces are inspired by the spirit of the Tommy Hilfiger brand that both kids and parents adore.

Giorgos Bethavas, General Manager of Sarkk S.A., noted that: “We are very proud to open the first dedicated Tommy Hilfiger childrenswear store in Bucharest. This is a really special occasion, since the childrenswear collection finally has its own, dedicated store. In the same shopping mall, Sarkk already operates another successful Tommy Hilfiger store, which proves that Romanian consumers are utterly interested in the fashion industry. This has been the strategic framework on which our decision was based to open a new store, dedicate to the Tommy Hilfiger childrenswear collection. We believe that this collection will be equally loved by both children and their parents”.
