NEW YORK, NEW YORK– The Tommy Hilfiger Group, which is wholly owned by PVH Corp. [NYSE: PVH], it is supporting the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund “Americans in Paris” initiative with 10 selected designers for the fifth consecutive season. The showroom, located at Le 8 Valois by the Jardins du Palais Royal in the heart of Paris, is open from September 28 to 30, during Paris Fashion Week.

The showroom displays the 10 designers’ collections, ranging from women’s and menswear to eyewear and fine jewelry. International press, buyers and VIPs attending Paris fashion week are invited to visit the showroom.

“It has been an honor to be a part of the growth of the Americans in Paris program and to watch the success of participating designers over the past five seasons,” said Tommy Hilfiger. “My own experiences at the beginning of my career inspired my commitment to mentoring, and my strong belief that supporting emerging designers in building sustainable global businesses contributes to the continued success and excitement of our industry.”

On September 27, Tommy Hilfiger hosted a round table discussion with the designers to provide mentorship and answer questions regarding the global nature of the industry today and expanding their business internationally. Following the discussion, Mr. Hilfiger hosted a dinner in honor of the designers at acclaimed restaurant Monsieur Bleu.

The initiative will be supported by a comprehensive program on Tommy Hilfiger’s social media channels, aggregated by the #AmericansinParis hashtag. For the first time, the program will include an Instagram contest run by the CFDA, inviting followers to post photos sharing their interpretations of the themes “Americans in Paris” and “red, white and blue” using #AmericanInParis. The winner of the contest will receive tickets to the Tommy Hilfiger Fall 2014 runway show during New York Fashion Week in February, 2014.

Tommy Hilfiger has long been a supporter of emerging design talent. Through the Tommy Hilfiger Corporate Foundation, – which he established in 1995 – his ongoing involvement with the CFDA, and through other collaborations and initiatives, Mr. Hilfiger has worked with and mentored the inspiring new talent that is among the next generation of designers, artists and musicians.
